How to Build a Poker Table, this thought occurred to
me
when I was looking for some accessories for my poker games, actually I
was seeking a poker chip set. Anyways I was at that poker store, so
decided to look around and to get to know the variety of goods in
sales. To say the least I was confused by finding a lot of
things that to my mind had nothing to do with poker. I was wrong,
because all those screws and other stuff were in close connection with
poker. And then I thought of building a poker table myself.
Frankly
speaking I am no professional poker gambler, but I love the game,
especially when my friends join me. However, all my gambling experience
was about playing the game on a dinner table. I wanted to buy a poker
table, but those I liked cost pretty much. So my pals and I went on
playing on a dinner table dreaming about getting a real poker one some
day. Fortunately that some day happened sooner that I dared to hope.

to make all the legs of a poker table, that's why we'll build
only the
top of a table. This decision has a great benefit about it: you don't
need to think about extra place for your handmade poker table
storage, it's just a top that requires less space, you can put it in
your garage, or in an attic room. And when you need it, just place it
on the top of your dinner table or take it out in an arbor, and here
you are with your incredible custom poker table.
OK, let's begin with our construction. There are three main
parts to be purchased. First of all it's a top itself or planks that
will be knocked together. Secondly, you will need a felt to
put on your top and thirdly, there should be something for joining felt
and a top together, as a rule it's glue. Concerning your top that is
still under way, it should be planed so that there will be no
splinters, then varnished and polished. Now we are ready to set to work
sticking felt with glue to the poker
table top. Ask a friend to help you, because
it is almost impossible to stretch the felt properly alone.
It's very important to do it rightly without any folds.
